Tuesday, March 2, CAMPAIGN DAY

On March 2 you will be introduced to 14 Rotarians, who will be competing for the 7 positions on the Board of Directors. The candidates are known as the HUBS & the SPOKES.

Ron Baker

(Architecture-Engineering), member since 2006. Committees: B.E.A.N., Environment & Beautification, Social. Vision for Rotary: “Enhance the high values of Rotary through experienced board leadership, ethical standards and professional integrity to all, “etica”. . . the way we do business. Etica an Italian term for “ethics”, expresses the resolute commitment to work with the Rotary Members, Board of Director’s, staff, and associates in an ethical manner and maintain professional integrity at all times.”

William Agbor-Baiyee

(Medicine-Course and Program Management), member since 2008, Committees: WCS, Book Dialogue. Vision for Rotary: I envision my potential board membership role as one of a servant leader dedicated to advancing the mission of the Rotary Club of Indianapolis.”

Lucia Carter

(Physical Relocation, Design & Management), member since 2007, Committees: Chair, Member Engagement Committee; Mentor; Community Service. Vision for Rotary: I envision a day when the Rotarian perspective is universally accepted as a critical element in creating, planning and implementing positive changes locally, nationally, and internationally. My wish is to help bring this to fruition as a Rotary Board Member”.

Kathy Humphrey

(International Center), member since 2008, Committees: WCS, Member Engagement Committee, Mentor. Vision for Rotary: My enthusiasm for Rotary goes to the heart of what our organization is all about. . . strengthening our community by building connections. In serving our Rotary Club, I want to make us a leader in two areas, that will continue to grow in importance in the decades ahead: building awareness of the rich contributions of our international community and striving to make our businesses and our homes greener. These are two of my passions, and I would be honored to bring my energy to help our club lead the city in these two areas.”

Brenda Jackson

Vision for Rotary: A world that is polio free and a world that really embraces the concept of world peace. I will offer leadership and experience as a former Rotary Assistant District Governor.”

(Conflict Resolution & Peace Building), member since 2007, Committees: WCS, Youth Exchange. Vision for Rotary: I envision Indianapolis Rotary as a world leader connecting Rotarians with service opportunities that transform our communities and bring the change that is needed to address critical problems.”
